R30.000 thousand rand just disappered

I have purchased a bank financed car and I paid R30.000 deposit toward the car. And now after coupler months I checked my bank statements outstanding balance to my surprise the deposit I paid is not reflecting on the statement. And I called the bank for clarity and they advised me to address the issue with we buy cars. Then I contacted consultant who help me to purchase the car at we buy cars germiston regarding this issue and she advised me that the deposit I paid is for the interest. I am very confused right now. I only need clarity on what happed to my deposit. NB. And bank has financed me the more than what the car cost therefore I something not adding up the process that place. Can some one please assist on this regards. I think this query rather be investigated first internally.
