QUESTIONABLE ROADWORTHY & DEKRA REPORTING.
I'm currently in a middle of a clear deal which shouldn't be a problem at all as far as I can see. I'm buying an Audi Q7 2016 model, it passed a roadworthy test and everything seems good. But now I'm refusing to take up their 2 year mechanical warranty since it is not suitable for high-end vehicle. I asked for the car to be inspected by audi so I can take their warranty instead.( which I offered to pay for after feeling a resistance from webuycars). Now the car comes back with a small issue but a Safety issue, which one would expect such an established dealer to put at the forefront. The issue was that the rear brake pads needed to be replaced (R15000) and were actually critical. (I paid R2700 for this inspection which I wnt get back) Now webuycars have decided to collect the car from audi which means they are not willing to fix this issue. So my deal is off as they are not prepared to foot the bill. Which makes me question alot of things such as their roadworthy testing, their derka report. What is it based on? Is Webuycars planning to quietly sell this defective car to a less suspecting buyer?
I'll update this review once I have full confirmation.
