Promotion auction **** to inflate prices

On 7/1/2022. I took part in an pine promotion auction which I was the highest bidder and which the website said "bid successful" and it was not rejected. However I was not allowed to purchase the car and the online agents instead wanted to refund me. The very next day I complained on twitter but the same vehicle was now on another promotion auction and the price inflated by R5000. Once again the vehicle wasn't sold and now it's back to the original price it was at in 2021. What is the point of a PROMOTIONAL auction, when there is clearly zero promotion. I complained to webuycars and got the usual corporate reply, deeply apologize and someone would contact me soon. Well no one did.
