Pride yourself more than on a cheaper selling price

Went into webuycars Port Elizabeth

Found a car, priced 770k. Wanted to trade in two cars and pay over 400k cash.

Evaluated first car, experienced assessor. No problem.

Evaluated second car, new assessor. Big problem.

The assessor advised me that the mileage of my classic car was tampered with because he thought the speedometer did not move during his test drive ( mileage went from 100 001 to 100 010 - he didn't read it correctly)and he further advised the entire car was resprayed. Based on this he offered me 50% of the value of the vehicle. After this, I showed him the mileage did move in the pictures he took before and after his test drive of the dashboard. He agreed after that the mileage was fine. I then sent pictured of the car the day I bought it, one panel had been damaged one and that was resprayed. But the assessment report showed the entire car as having been resprayed.

We are people of integrity. I don't expect to be tested like I am cheating you.

The worst thing is after I pointed out the above, I was told that it would not make much of a difference, the price has been set.

I sent the we buy cars buyers in JHB in assuming and assessor, information regarding the mileage and panel resprayed. No feedback.

I would of left this, because I am trying the cars in and buying a car else where now. But, as a courtesy I'm informing you that you need to pride yourself on more than a cheaper selling price.
