Poor service and false advertising
I am writing to express my utmost disappointment with your company's services.
I recently purchased one of your cars a Ford Kuga (ND789 489) at R153 000 on the 22nd March 2024. This car was advertised as having the following issues: Milage 155739km 1. Driver seat not adjustable 2. 2x bolts missing from the housing 3. Left outer cv boot is torn and leaking grease However this car had several other issues which are really inexcusable. This car had a key problem and would not start. This car still does not start. We were advised to do several things to the car which have proved to be rather costly and unfair. We were sold a car which had a key that did not lock all the doors which is a major security risk in South Africa . We were deceived and could not make an informed decision because the faults in this car were omitted By We Buy Cars. The costs we have incurred include: 1. Key issue and replacement of key R3000 + R650 2. New battery for vehicle R2413,60 3. Fender liners R720 4. Glow plus R 400 X2 = R800.00 5. Sensor and bracket headlamp levelling R5950.00 -not replaced 6. Feed and return pipes R4771.00 – not replaced Total cost: R 16 354.60 It has been nothing but a nightmare. The car was faulty and did not work as advertised. The faults initially When I reached out to your customer service team, I was met with nothing but incompetence and indifference. The representative I spoke with was unhelpful, and I was left feeling frustrated and angry. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and customer care your company has shown me. I demand a full refund for the car , as well as compensation for the time and resources I have wasted trying to get your company to address this issue. I hope you take this matter seriously and take steps to rectify the situation. If I do not receive a satisfactory response from your company within the next few days, I will be forced to escalate this matter. This has been false adverti*****t on your part and omission of critical information about this vehicle. I hope to hear from you promptly as this is an urgent matter
At this point now WeBuyCars is further requesting we pay for a quotation for the car when they were the ones who instructed us to fix the problems we identified.
Is this how We Buy Cars treats pensioners ? Taking hard earned money and not providing a refund as this car wa sold with an incorrect report.
We have not been in contact with Vinoliah Ragolane Customer Care Agent, who has not been helpful at all.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Our sincerest apologies for the negative experience you have had.
We are busy investigating the matter and will provide you with feedback as soon as possible.
Kind regards
