Poor Quality, False / Misleading representation
The NATIS documents and the engine in the car that I bought differs and We Buy Cars Refuses to take the car back. Other problems that were picked up was that the engine head was leaking a lot of oil, all the pipes in the engine were loose and not tied in place, the oil pump was faulty and the bolts of the gearbox were loose and some were missing. As a consumer I feel that “We Buy Cars – Midstream” represented the car in a false, deceptive and misleading way. As I do understand that the car was bought “voetstoots” according to the consumer act they were supposed to disclose all material facts regarding the condition of the pre-owned vehicle, which they failed to, do. As a consumer my impression is that because I’m a female and don’t know anything about cars they knowingly sold me an unreliable vehicle.
