Poor customer service to assist in cancelling a deal

I purchased a vehicle from WBC The Dome branch and collected it on the 2nd of October 2024(Wednesday). The car started overheating way 20 min away from the Dome on my way home. This issue was not in the condition report provided by Dekra. I returned the vehicle the following day (3rd October - Thursday) to the branch. The Sales Consultant who assisted me took the car in for diagnosis. I was then contacted by the head office on Saturday (5th October) asking whether I wanted them to fix the vehicle or cancel the deal, to which I communicated that I wanted to cancel the deal.

I followed up on Monday (7th October) with the Sales Consultant who told me that he is waiting for the workshop to do a diagnosis to be able to send to head office for them to make the cancellation. After being told the same story for 3 days I went to the branch on Thursday (10th October) and only then the manager escalated the issue. Even after sending the diagnosis report required by the head office to make the cancellation, I am told I must wait another 3 to 5 days for them to process the cancellation.

So WBC expects me to wait for 2 weeks or even a month on a vehicle that is financed under my name earning interest to wait for their internal processes to cancel a vehicle sitting at their workshop!!!! Every single person from the consultant, manager, dealer principles, head office, the whole entire team does not want to take accountability to assist me.
