pathetic pricing offered

I asked them how much would they give me for my land cruiser. When I didn't know the model year because it was my father's they were going to offer me 60k when I thought it was a 1990 model. When I found out more about the car and found out it was a 1993 fj80 land cruiser they were only willing to go to 50k. Why if the car is 3 years younger they want to give me 50k for the vehicle? If the car is younger then shouldn't the price you were willing to pay go up not down?
