Pathetic after sales service and ignorance.

I Purchased a Jeep Commander from the Durban branch. I flew up to collect the car and upon arrival got told about a water emergency light that was constantly burning. The salesman told me that its only a faulty sensor and nothing to worry about, yet every 300 odd kms i had to refill the water.

Yet when i left i went to the nearest garage the check water and oil. When i filled the water the light disappeared. 4 Days later the radiator blew up, leading to a dropped valve. The costs incurred by myself is going to be over R20k. When i brought this up with Wesley the sales person, he just told me that webuycars isn't liable, clearly contravening the CPA.

So after spending almost a 100k, they just look the other way and doent give a flying toss. Ive spent a 100k on something that was clearly faulty beforehand and have nothing to show for it now. Ive spent 120k for a paper weight.

Your company clearly has no idea or repsect for the CPA. A dealership cant sell a cae as is, especially if false information was given by the sales person. This is the only reply i received after numerous emails to the Durban Branch. Ive requested for the manager or branch head tonget inncontact, but nothing. Just received a mail from the sales person... "However I will confidently confirm that I said it may be the sensor. I am not a mechanic nor can I claim to know anything about cars." He doesnt know anything about cars, yet he can sell me a car and at the point of sale tell me its a faulty sensor just to get the sale.
