Not pleased at all.

I'm not one to complain but I feel that the treatment I've received is not fair and disappointing by such a huge company, as a first time potential buyer I must say it's the first time I've been frustrated and annoyed yet I'm going to be spending my own money. So I went to a branch this passed Saturday to take a look at certain cars I saw online with my parents, we get there we see the cars but we happy with the cars we saw online and proceeded to look around. I test drive a car but my parents were against me buying that car so when I returned from a test drive I find my parents talking to a sales representative and they show me a car and convince to me take it since its it's in excellent condition so I agree at first, make a deposit of R5000 and tell him we will return on Monday since Sundays are closed. Monday comes and I have decided against taking that car as itwas to my liking.I remember the sales guy telling us the hold is only for 48 hours. The problem now is that on Monday 2 days ago we go there we find a car and I get told its pending finance yet online it had the option to buy the car, and to be honest he didnt give us much of his time, we waited close to 30 minutes before he could attend us, so after telling me the cars I wanted were all pending finance he excused himself and asked me to look around he will be back, so I did and couldn't find anything I liked , so I searched for him and couldn't find him, my parents had a doctors appointment and we needed to return to Pietermaritzburg. So my dad got frustrated and told us to leave and that I should call him tell him he can sell the original vehicle we picked since I've changed my mind. The same day in the evening I browse the site again and find the car still available to to purchase. I call the next morning to ask what's going on ,they tell me the car is available( mind you we drove all they from Pietermaritzburg to Durban to get such poor service). So I call the sales guy and tell him I want that vehicle but now I dont have days off anymore this week the best I can do is Friday. He speaks to management and gets back to me with worst response I was not expecting, I get told that my 48 hours is ending soon have make a plan to go to the branch asap and test drive the car before I can make any payments and that I have to make the purchase and take the car because I've delayed the process already. #1 I was given false information on Monday about the car I wanted, I had to check for myself about the car and make a few just to get the truth about the car. #2 the deposit I made on saturday was not clearly told that its non refundable , sales representatives must be upfront about and make sure we as customers understand what happens after making a deposit. #3 if that sales guy was professional and treated me the way he was supposed to and give me his time I would gladly purchased that vehicle I saw on Monday cash and left with no problems. #4 I spoke to the manager she was not willing to understand my situation I explained over and over to her, all i asked was that they transfer my deposit to the car i wanted and give till friday to go there because I have work obligations and so do my parents we can't drop everything and drive all the way to Durban when they were the ones that failed to assist me accordingly when i was there on Monday. All i asked was that they meet me half way and give till Friday I'll definitely buy the car, but she refused and sounded like she wasn't bothered at all. #5 the non refundable deposit of R5000 is alot of money to get told I'll lose it if I dont make a purchase by today, I'll admit I signed a document without reading everything on saturday but the sales guy is also at fault for not making me understand what I'm getting myself into. Some of us live far it's not easy for us to just drop everything and drive to Durban, the manager should be understanding and try meet me half way and give me an extension till friday , even on friday I should be working but that's best my manager could agree but yet I'm being pressured into making a purchase or else I'll lose my 5k. #6 the manager pointed out that company policy doesnt allow customers to make any payments without inspecting or test driving a vehicle. Guess what ?? I did not test drive the vilehicle on saturday which I made the deposit for yet that was allowed.

If itwas up to me I'd take my money give else where , this really frustrating and no sense of professionalism present in all of this.So now I'm going lose my money and the car I wanted when it wasn't even my fault to begin with in the first place. Am I being punished for changing my mind because that's what it feels like yet I'll be spending my money, have they considered my travel expenses let alone working obligations. Cars are long term purchases so I have every right to change my mind if I'm not satisfied.

I was given till today to get there but I have to be at work so do my parents. I feel this could have been handled way better.

I understand company policy but I'm not at fault here , ivtried meeting you guys halfway but ya business is business I guess.
