Not at all happy with the situation you put me in.

I am highly disappointed having dealt with We Buy Cars 3 times in the last 6 months. The last car that I bought had issues with it from the first day.

1. I collected the car from Silver Lakes and drove it to Midstream where due to my own neglect I discovered the license disc had expired. This was rectified at Midstream branch and a temporary permit issued. 2. I discussed the issue with both Silver Lakes and Midstream and was outright informed the car is bought as is and there was nothing that could be done. 3. I did not leave it at this and spoke to someone else higher up in the ranks. He then said take the vehicle to ACD and get a quote. If it was not feesible according to price then the offer on the table is to refund the monies. I took the vehicle on that day to ACD and they rectified the one problem which was the aircon that needed regas. The owner of ACD informed me to bring the vehicle in the following Tuesday for a service and also informed me that he cannot quote the exact price as he would need the vehicle for the day to double check on all the issues.

The following Tuesday I could not take the vehicle in as it is the only means of transport that I have and I needed to work so I needed the vehicle on that day. The Tuesday that followed I had the same situation.

On my way from Pretoria on the Wednesday the vehicle broke down. I had had the vehicle for a total of under three weeks when this had happened. It was towed in and I went with the tow truck to We Buy Cars in Midstream.

I arrived there rather late and arrangements were made to drop me at home. I was informed that the cambelt had broken and was also informed that the mechanic would determine the amount of damage.

A werk has now passed and a second week beginning and as yet all that I was informed is that the directors would sit with me and discuss what possible solution we can come to. All this time I have been without a vehicle and could not do my job because of this.

I drove this vehicle for exactly 3 weeks before it broke down. I am not asking for much, all I am asking is that they agree to refund me what I paid so I can make another plan for a car to be able to do my job.

I would have been happy with the Mini Cooper that I bought from them had it not been for the fact that the NATIS papers was an issue and that the actual reality is that the issue laid with We Buy Cars who had sold me the vehicle without even having the correct NATIS papers.

I hereby wish to revoke this complaint as We Sell Cars dealt with the situation very effectively and to my satisfaction. A special thank you to Henry Harber who went the extra mile and I would recommend We Sell Cars Midstream to all those interested in buying a car.
