No paperwork to prove change of ownership

I sold my car to WBC in December and have since been unable to obtain a proof of change of ownership despite various calls to the sales rep Chrisb and messages left. My insurance could not give me a refund due to the lack of proof that I actually sold my car. I have no paperwork and am legally at risk.
