No NaTIS or vehicle registration papers recieved
I purchased a vehicle cash on the 15/01/2022, 14 days since the date of sale and I have not recieved the NaTIS / registrations documents, nor had any communication.
WeBuyCars sales agreement requires me to register the car within 21 days after delivery, and the Consumer Protection Act requires WeBuyCars to give the NaTIS documents because the sale contract does not stipulate otherwise.
The vehicles license is now expired and I cannot renew it without the Natis documents. Insurance cover for the vehicle is no longer valid due to the license being expired. Negligence by WeBuyCars to provide me with the Natis documents in a timely fashion has now put me at risk as I have lost insurance cover on the vehicle.
I have laid a complaint through WeBuyCars online portal, but have recieved no response and I am ignored by sales persons.
A rememdy for this dispute, how you can mitigate the risk I have incurred for loss of insurance cover as well as the delivery of the NaTIS papers, must happen before the 21 days pass as per the sale agreement. If no remedy is provided I will follow the proper legal channels to seek my own remedy in breach of sales contract and consumer protection act.
Thank you for your understanding.
