No License and Registration papers

I purchased a car at We Buy Cars George branch on 24 April. I drove the car back to Cape Town where I noticed the license expired. I contacted the salesperson and the finance person about what I need to do. They did not respond. Eventually Rudy from George branch assisted me and advised I should get a temp permit from one of the Cape Town branches. He also advised that licensing and registration takes up to 21 days. When I called the contact centre this morning to enquire on the status of the license and registration I was advised that it would not be done before the end of this week. That will be a month from day of purchase and they still could not guarantee it would be done by then. This is on a vehicle with an expired license already and a temp permit that expires soon. So it will be my inconvenience to get a new temp permit if the licensing is not done by eow. Not a great experience from a company who must do this kind of thing on a daily basis as part of their core business... After-sales experience has been poor.
