No desire to resolve customer issues

I purchased a car through an auction at Webuycars (WBC) Richmond, Cape Town. It seems that the branch misplaced the original key for the car, so they had to reprogram a new one, which I was fine with. However, the reprogrammed key is not functioning properly, causing the unlocking system to not work and making it difficult to start the car. The manager at WBC Richmond, Jez, is disrespectful and undermines his clients. He shows no willingness to engage or assist with our issues, which we find distasteful and unacceptable. What qualities does he possess as a manager if he cannot fulfill basic customer service? Could it be a case of privilege to hold such a position? I strongly urge Webuycars to prioritise addressing problems based on their merits rather than dismissing them solely based on factors such as race or other irrelevant considerations. Currently, I find myself trapped in a predicament where I am left with a non-functional vehicle that is causing so much inconvenience. We can't find ourselves litigating on a simple matter that was not done right, which the Branch should have ensured was done right in the first place. It is disappointing in the manner Webuycars is handling customer's complaints and hope they can improve on this aspect of their operations. Otherwise, I am happy to return the car for a refund.
