No communication , no accountability for over a week for a concern lodged within 24 hours of collecting vehicle

I am writing to humbly request your assistance after exhausting all know channels with we buy cars.

I purchased a vehicle with WBC and collected it on the 21st of April in the afternoon. Midday the 22nd I notified the sales agent Mbulelo Masuku that there is a whistling noise coming from the bonnet and he advised that I 1.take the vehicle to an RMIaccredited workshop and 2.he will proceed to log the concern. I did that on the Thursday the 23rd and sent the quote to Mbulelo Friday the 24th and diagnostic report and he confirms receipt and that he will escalate to his line manager.

I should add at this point that my email address has been entered incorrectly into their system and I made a David Pascoe aware of this even before collecting the vehicle and requested that it be corrected and it wasn't meaning I didn't receive any of the agreements on email to keep only links via sms to esign and the said link does not give one an option to review the documents. This David Pascoe has after hearing that I have a concern with the vehicle stopped taking my calls or responding to my texts.

Saturday I get a call from the a lady named Poppy to please email the quotation and a picture of the kms on the odometer, I told her my email address has been entered incorrectly in their system and I am therefore unable to receive emails from WBC, she noted and said she'd forward the email address matter to have it fixed. Saturday is the day that Mbulelo part of the sales team stopped responding to my emails and would ignore my calls and when he'd answer he'd have bad network (a problem we never had during the sales process). I called again on Tuesday and he said he was in a meeting and would call me once he's out.... It's Thursday he's still in that meeting.

On Tuesday the 28th I called the call center to get ahold of Poppy who've since sent an email of the picture of the kms and was informed that the matter has escalated to a Ronsleigh and the agent couldn't forward my call to him. I contacted Jason the F & I that assisted in the purchase and resolved the email address issue and emailed Ronsleigh and copied me no response or acknowledgement was received from Ronsleigh.

I emailed Ronsleigh again on Wednesday the 29th and outlined my issue and again he didn't not respond. I contacted Jaco Putter Mbulelo's manager and bought the matter to his attention, he called to get the information and wrote an email while I was in the line to Aldo and as expected no word from Aldo as I write this email to you. I then received a text from WBCs WhatsApp line to send through more information but unfortunately I don't know what information they require cause no communication has been sent. I then informed both Jaco and Jason of this text, Jaco sent me Aldo's email address and Jason informed me "It seems that the customer care agent is going to contact you with an update. They are deciding if they should get a second quote from another RMI workshop or if they are going to proceed with a cancellation rather".

And that is odd cause my options should be 1. Repair/replace the turbo. 2. Asset change 3. Cancel.

In my email to Ronsleigh yesterday I informed him that I need them to collect this vehicle cause 1. Insurance has a covered with condition that I take the vehicle to their workshop for assessment (I haven't done that cause I'm still in limbo.) 2. I haven't put in a tracking system yet because I am still in limbo with absolutely no communication from Wbc regarding this issue.

when buying a car one expects transparency , not a perfect car it is a second hand car Afterall but this matter has shown me that he staff at we buy cars are ************ because the problem with this vehicle was hidden and the car certified "A rated" and "Ready'. Seeing that they we may be heading for a cancelation it would be interesting to see how it will be advertised to the new buyers.
