Nightmare service

On 6 June 2020 I went to We buy cars Durban, 52 Kubu drive to purchase a vehicle. I already made arrangements with the salesman that I would be coming there to purchase the vehicle. When I get there they tell me that the vehicle has an issue with the micro dots and the vehicle has to go for police clearance. The salesman assured me that its nothing major but it has to be done in order to license vehicle and it will be done by 9 June 2020 and he will call me to come and collect vehicle. I got no call so I called on Wednesday 10 June 2020 to the branch. Nobody there had a clue what was going on. They transferred me from one department to another and eventually cut the call. I then called the salesman and he said the vehicle will be sorted by 11 June 2020 and he will call me by 14:00. I am still waiting for his call. Its almost a week and We buy cars has failed to sort out the police clearance . They made me pay a deposit of R5000 to hold the car for me. There seems to be something sinister going on with this deal. I am a cash customer and I can't comprehend what is the motive for We buy cars for stalling the process. It was supposed to be much easier buying from them than buying privately but this is not the case. It's a huge nightmare and stress.

I was a bit sceptical buying from them after reading the negative reviews on this site but I gave it a try and now I am convinced about the poor service. I now have to go the legal route to get my deposit back for a vehicle which they can not make available to me. Absolutely ridiculous to wait so long for them.
