Nightmare experience with We buy cars

Terrible experience! Company causing me immense frustration, distress and personal loss. Bought car with immaculate DEKRA report form Gqeberha (PE) just to find one week later its gearbox is defective and needs to be replaced, Turbo has issues and aircon also defective. Quotation to fix these defects was R170000. I opted to return the car to WE BUY CARS and was assured I can return the car and I would have the full amount paid for car AND warranty in my back account within 5 working days. I waited patiently (without a car of my own) and after 5 days started enquiring about money. I had to phone their customer care line daily for 3 weeks!!!!(hold the line for 5 minutes at times) just to be told: "the agent on your case is not available and will call you back"- needless to say this agent rarely phoned back. For 3 weeks I was told to be patient. After 3 weeks the money for the car was repaid, but the R9800 for warranty was not repaid. On enquiry I was told: "you will have to sort this out with the insurance company yourself" This despite being assured they will repay this amount too. For 3 weeks I did not have a car of my own or cashflow, and had to move to a new town and start a new job- these 2 events are stressful enough! This was a nightmare of a process and I felt unheard and ignored. I will never support this company again and advise others to be very careful before considering it.
