Bought a car on auction at Webuycars Montague Gardens when there was only 10min remaining. It had a clean DEKRA report. I called the call centre to make sure. I was told it is a clean report and that it would pass the roadworthy test. I proceeded to pay and then went to the branch. I asked the salesman as well and I was told they wouldn't give a free voucher if it would fail.

I went to the roadworthy station and was told the brake pads and brake disks were rusted and completely worn. I was then informed that the vehicle had no brakes because the pipe burst and I wouldn't make it home in that condition. I called webuycars Montague Gardens and was told its not their problem. I was told to drive just like that.

It cost me an extra R2153 to fix after I was told nothing was wrong with the car. After getting 1 pipe fixed there was only 30min left before the roadworthy station closed. The place that fixed the brake pipe told me I would need to come back to replace the other pipe if I want to make it in time for roadworthy. Now I need to go back and to fix the other pipe which will cost me another R530.

All they care about is money and once they have your money they will tell you to go f*** yourself.

I wouldn't recommend them. They do not care about CPA rules at all and falsely advertise and lie to make sales.
