DON'T BE PRESSURED INTO BUYING THEIR CARS ON AUCTION!!!! After purchasing a double cab from Webuycars - we thought it was a reputable company to deal with (in the ***** industry of second hand cars) after hearing an interview with Faan Van der Walt , we had engine trouble shortly after but because we purchased it during "auction time" which I was reluctant to do but assured that it was perfectly safe ,we were told we have no recourse after I explicitly asked Inus from Midstream branch if there was a major problem could we get a refund/repair/replace as per the Consumer Protection Act and I was told that Webuycars had a reputation to uphold and that anything major would be taken care of. NOT SO !!! IF BOUGHT ON AUCTION THEY SAY IT IS VOETSTOOTS AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTEES OT GUARANTEES - NEVERMIND THE CPA .They also didn't disclose that the radio, electronic mirror and heated seats didn't work either. After saving for two years and spending 310k cash we now have to fork out thousands more for repairs. They just sent us on our merry way to the Ombudsman...and we all know how that will turn out!!!!
