If you want to experience the most unprofessional and rude customer service, then you need to buy a car from here.
Your silver lakes branch in Pretoria needs an audit because the level of service they provide is disgusting. The car that was to be bought was for my mother. She had submitted all paper works and was approved by Wesbank for the car, had the insurance all set up, and was informed by this branch that she could collect her car on the 16th of May.
The first sign that this branch was unprofessional and dishonest was their false advertising. They had advertised the car on Autotrader that the car was for sale for R282 900 and still had a warranty until the 21st of March 2023. When looking at the car for the first time at the branch, they had informed the price was R289 900 and there was no warranty and inisited she would need to pay to extend the warranty if she wanted it.
When she arrived today to collect the car, an employee by the name of Annelee Cronje assisted her, and quite frankly poorly. Annelee rudely shouted at my mother for allegedly not providing the correct documents, such as her bank statements and proof of residence, even though Wesbank had already approved everything and all was set. She continued to rudely shout at my mother for not doing anything correctly with her words and the manager was just as unprofessional and did not even apologize or account for his employee for shouting at a customer.
When inspecting the car, the car was filthy even though they charged a cleaning fee for the car, it had a number of scratches that were not there before and all the mats in the car were removed, besides for one which had a number of holes in them. When informing the manager of the issues, he at first refused to acknowledge the issues and when we persisted, he finally acknowledged it with a shrug.
Eventually, after the horrid service, my mother canceled the entire deal, which was probably for the best.
This level of service is disgusting and this branch should not even be open if this is how they treat paying customers.
