I got **** to

I recently bought a Suzuki swift from we sell cars. When I test drove the car the salesperson told me about the warranty that WSC provides, I asked if this is included in the price and the salesperson confirmed that it is. After applying for finance I got the numbers back and the cars price went from R75 000 to R88 000 so when I enquired about this price increase I was told that the warranty of around R8000 was not included in the price and the rest is for the registration and service of the vehicle. So after long arguments with the financial guy that was helping me, we agreed on the price for the car and the last thing to do was the documents and contract. The first contract came back with the incorrect numbers including the deposit being the wrong number and the term (72 months and not 36 months). So the financial guy sent me another contract saying that is correct. Which I then found was incorrect again as the warranty that we argued about was not even included in the price, not to mention my personal details being wrong.

I will not buy a car from we sell cars again and will not refer anyone to them. Stay away!

Dear Simone
The reason I took so long to answer is because the allegation you are making and that you have refused to withdraw is quite a serious one from a legal perspective.
I have personally spoken to all involved.
You are mistaken.
You have been treated well.
Everything was explained to you in a truthful and transparent manner.
A misunderstanding occurred.
You made incorrect assumptions.
This is the truth of the matter.
When Dwayne explained that the price displayed is the price you pay, that was in the context of it being a cash transaction - where it holds true.
Then this context changed and the context became that of a financial transaction where the former does not hold true anymore.
It is clear that you were not **** to, but that you were unfortunately given more information than what you could process at the time, and that we should have taken greater care and explained more thoroughly, but your fiancé's constant interference made this quite difficult.
Also there is the matter that you still insisted on completing the transaction after all was said and done, and you were given the opportunity to back out of the transaction, and still you exercised the option of proceeding and to go forward with this transaction even in spite of our perceived shortcomings, which I find puzzling in the light of the fact that you now hold the opinion that you were **** to and that you were treated poorly.
If you feel that strongly about this, then I advise that you seek arbitration, but to what gain, for what purpose?
That is my response.
I sincerely wish you all the best forward.
Dirk
