Horrible experience

What a drawn out and frustrating experience. After putting a reserve on a vehicle, test driving it, having a 3rd party check it, I had to wait until the finance was approved for them to tell me that I HAVE TO take out a warranty with them. Firstly they quoted me on the highest interest rate with a different bank after I specifically stated which 2 banks I deal with, then a R19k warranty gets thrown into the pot for financing. Then you have to have them service the vehicle so that the warranty will be valid. So now I'm in for another R19k plus another R3k on a R291k deal (with a R90k deposit). You can get a warrantee elsewhere but there is no waiting period permitted. They almost make it impossible to do business with. I can imagine this must be a regular obstacle in concluding a sale, but instead of emphasising the matter upfront they rather keep it on the down-low so that hopefully you just give in at the end and take their warrantee, borderline *********. What a horrible experience. I can only imagine the frustration for the sales team in getting deals done with management policies like this.
