Hidden Gearbox Issues

I bought a car on 7 February 2024, from and advertised by WeBuyCars as platinum. The vehicle had no reported mechanical issue on the sales label.

Driving home from the dealership, the vehicle showed a message that the Auto gearbox is defective. It stopped driving and I had to switch it on and off multiple time in order to pick up gears. I called the sales agent and he told me that I should immediately take the vehicle for scanning at a Bosch dealership. I took it in and paid R850 and it was confimed that the vehicle had a pre existing gearbox issue.

I have parked the vehicle since then. The issue was channelled through customer service who only responded on 20 February and allocated an incident number. They requested for all documentation, quotations and invoices in order to cancel or resolve the issue. Since 20 February, they went quiete and have not responded to my calls.
