Gives Out Contact Details

I sold a car to WeBuyCars which was reasonably painless but was contacted several months later by the owner of the new car. At no point was I contacted or asked permission to share my contact details with anyone. I've queried this with them and I'm waiting to see what they come back with.

Privacy issues are very close to our heart. What happens in the majority of cases like these is that the seller had forgotten that his contact details are on slips and invoices he had left in the service book when he sold the car, and then the buyer came upon them and took the liberty of phoning the previous owner.
