***** by WEBUYCARS

Goodday, I registered and paid a deposit to webuycars, Silver Lakes branch on 14 November 2021. I then bid on a vehicle the same day. The auction was set to close at 12:00 Sunday the 14th. I was outbid on that vehicle and decided not to raise my bid. On Monday 15 November 2021 I recieved an email with a proforma invoice attached. I could not understand this as the auction closed with a higher bid than mine. I suspect webuycars **********ly bid against me to higher the buying price and when I didn't raise my bid they reverted back to my original bid. I have laid 2 complaints about this ***** and contacted numerous people at wabuycars, including the dealer pricipal, mr Gert van Deventer. Nobody have gotten back to me and they still owe me my R5000 deposit. On the 14 December 2021 a mr Carlston Ruiters emailed me asking for a bank statement to proove my banking details and have the deposit paid back to me. It is now the 7th February 2022 and i have not recieved anything. My attorney is awiting some feedback from wabuycars, but they seem to be ignoring me. They are a bunch of **********, so BEWARE of WEBUYCARS. CO. ZA.
