FAULTY CAR

I went to We Sell Cars montague gardens and bought a Hyundai i10. This car was supposed me to be a relief seeing that my old car had so many problems and I needed a break. As usual, there is no rest for the wicked. When I got the car I noticed a fault with the ignition. The key comes out while the car is still idling. So I took the car to Hyundai to get my warranty and enquired about the ignition and they diagnosed immediately, checked the part and it's the right one. Went back this morning to have it installed and the problem persisted and the agent at Hyundai said the keys need to be replaced which will cost a price that I cannot afford this time of year. This car is giving me problems and causing me to stress and I have had it for about a month. The agent who sold me the car told me it is, and I quote "100% good to go" and yet I am having problems. This problem is putting safety at risk as the immobiliser does not work as the key can be taken out the ignition and completely out the car and the car still drives and this will cause k*k with my insurance if the car is broken into or ******. Replacing both keys is going to put me in debt and I am sick of having to drive up and down and fighting with people for answers.

HELP!!!

Even it's a quote to install a separate immobilizer. I don't care about the key. But I need an immobilizer or else my insurance will sh*t on my head

Hi Anet. Please mention to Marques that Hyundai has emailed him the quote. They were a bit delayed from their side. Please ASAP as I would like this grievance resolved before anything else persists. Regards

Thanks. However I have another concern. Marques said he will provide me with a better quote. How will this help me? A better quote? What I want is for you guys to fix this. I have paid over and above for the car, the licencing and roadworthy and Change or ownership cost me quite allot and you guys want to provide me with a "Better quote"? As Marques said, it will not be from a approved Hyundai dealer, therefore if I accept that, my warranty will fall away and should anything go wrong with the car I will have no warranty to fall back onto because parts from a non approved dealer will cause my warranty to be completely null and void. This process is useless. Goodbye

Hi Joshua,

I have spoken to Marques, and he has advised that we will be paying for one key, as per the new quote he requested from Hyundai, and this will all be done at Hyundai themselves, so it will not affect you in any other aspect of the vehicle.
