I bought a BMW . When the salesman took me for a test driver i pointed out faults to him. (water light,smoking, burning smell) his reply was , coolant was low, burning smell is from passing vehicle and smoking due to it being cold. When too home the faults was not as pointed out by the sales. I also reported the issues to your dealer principal whose reply was I am responsible for the repairs as bought the car as is. As per the CPA dealers are not allowed to sell vehicles voetstoots or as is. Refer to the CPA buying a car know your rights.
