False Advertising and terrible Customer Service
<p>I urge everyone considering doing business with this company to think twice before they do so. In my dealings with them wanting to sell my bike everything pointed to them being a **** company trying to rip people off.</p> <p>I submitted a form to them with details of my bike for sale and the email I got back simply stated " Unfortunately we are not able to assist with this bike. " That's it. No reason or anything. I then decided to call them and find out the reason for their blunt refusal with no explanation. After being put through to numerous people only to reach voice mail everytime I eventually reached someone and explained my situation. He then told me he will put me through to the right person to assist. Guess what? Voice mail again!</p> <p>I then received another email saying they would love to be of assistance in offering me R5000 for my bike. HOWEVER I am too far away. Keeping in mind my bike is insured for R30 000 and retailing between R20 000 and R30 000. Their offer R5000. SERIOUSLY!!!</p> <p>Now in the media they claim to buy ANY car, bike etc. and that they come to you to do it. This is false advertising and they should change their name to We Buy SOME Cars In SOME Places. I am in the process of lodging a complaint with the NCC for false advertising.</p> <p>As I mentioned earlier in my review. Everything points to them being a ***** company and I challenge them to prove me otherwise.</p> <p>Please be warned when dealing with webuycars.co.za.</p>

In response to your message I would like to refer back to our website where we state that we service 'most towns' - unfortunately we have not expanded to Hermanes yet, but hope to in the near future.

I would also like to mention that our offers are obligation free and that clients are free to shop around for a better offering. In our industry the insured amount of a vehicle, in this case a Hyosung GT 250 Comet, does not necessarily determine the sale value. Factors such as popularity and demand will influence the offer amount. As to the authenticity of We Buy Cars - we encourage any prospective client to visit our warehouse during trading hours to get better acquainted with us.
In regards to the telephone transfer complications I apologize as we are curently upgrading our call centre.
