EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE

NOTE: WE RECOMMEND NO ONE TO BUY FROM WE BUY CARS AS THEY DO NOT RESPOND, IF ANY PROBLEM OCCUR AFTER YOU'VE RECEIVED YOUR VEHICLE THEY RUN AWAY FROM THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES. WHAT YOU SEE ON THEIR WEBSITE IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL GET THAT YOU PAY FOR.

I've purchased a 2018 Ford Ranger 3.2tdci Wildtrak from We Buy Cars Germiston, 06.09.2024

From the beginning of the sale process the Sales Rep - Henry (Hercules), were not involved, the whole deal was done and concluded by Johan & Jacqui Feenstra who are working in the F & I department @ Germiston Branch.

No one told us due to the fact that there was no salesman involved that there is a tyre pressure monitor malfunction, but still proceeded in instructing us that we need to replace 4x new tyres, 4x new valves, 1x wheel alignment, 4x wheel balancing & nitrogen to be done by Tyremart Germiston. But office personnel that were involved, Jacqui Feenstra, said that she does not know the vehicle as per her WhatsApp message received. I reiterate again, Hercules and no other sales representative were involved in this sales. Quotes from Tyremart were obtained by Shawn Reimers.

Now my question is with the quotation from Tyremart for the replacement of the tires, who were involved in taking out the TMPS sensors and replacing it with R 100's valves.

I bought the vehicle with TMPS sensors and We Buy Cars replaced it with normal R 100's valves, this makes We Buy Cars responsible to replace the TMPS sensors. It could have been only one sensor that malfunctioned, but yet We buy Cars replaced all 4 TMPS sensors with 4 normal valves to the value of R 100.00

Hercules only informed James Els that only tyres have been replaced, but never told him that the TMPS sensor @ the value of R 2 090.06 has been replaced with 4x normal valves to the value of R 100.00. I also have proof on WhatsApp, a snapshot, that Hercules sent me that he only informed James about the tyres and not the valves, that is where I obtained James's name.

Today Hercules sends feedback from James Els where they stated that the vehicle has been purchased like that, but yet the TMPS sensors were replaced by normal valves to the value of R 100.00 by We Buy Cars, that makes We Buy Cars responsible to pay for the TMPS sensors.

Due to the fact that Hercules was not involved in any process of this sale but still can get commission to the value of R 11 770.75, this is indicated in the documentation that has been submitted to Wesbank and that I have to pay for.

For the major service - we asked why the diesel filter was not included in the major service and they informed us that it only gets done every 90 000 km's, as provided by Jacqui Feenstra via WhatsApp (a screenshot), but I paid for a major service to the value of R 5 782.50. I'm sorry to say but they are incorrect, as I drive a Diesel work bakkie and the Diesel filter has to be replaced every 15 000 km's. With regards to the oil level, the dipstick did not even touch the oil, when the engine is cold, it was checked while we were there and it has been notilated on the inspection sheet of We Buy Cars that were completed on Friday 06.09.2024. I again checked the oil Saturday morning and yet again the dipstick did not touch the oil. I had to go buy a 5 Litre oil to the value of R 925.00 to top up the oil to the correct level - therefore it cannot be called a major service. I will take the bakkie to a Ford Dealer to obtain a second opinion if the bakkie has been serviced or not. Any cost that will occur will be for the account of We Buy Cars.

I will most definitely not bring the vehicle to Germiston - seeing as Henry (Hercules) tried to bribe me with a R 500.00 diesel voucher to apologise for the inconvenience, that I have on record.

Furthermore, currently we do not use the vehicle at all, seeing as we have to wait 10 weeks for our number plates and license disc, this is unacceptable.

All the above mentioned is extremely poor service from We Buy Cars.
