🚨 Extremely Disappointed with WeBuyCars 🚨

I’m writing this out of sheer frustration and disappointment following a repeatedly poor experience with @WeBuyCars_SA.

First, we trusted a Platinum Dekra report when purchasing a Ford Kuga — only to end up with serious issues that should never have passed inspection. After giving the company the opportunity to rectify the situation, we decided to try again... and regrettably purchased an Audi from them. Same story. Same problems.

As of today, we are stranded with one vehicle, and my fiancé — who just started a new job — has missed more days than he’s worked in the last two weeks. This situation is causing us real financial and emotional strain.

Worse still: We returned the Audi to WeBuyCars on Thursday, 5 June after it was confirmed that the vehicle was not roadworthy and would require unreasonably high repair costs. Yet, I have:

Paid in full for a vehicle I no longer have

Received no refund, and

Had zero meaningful communication from their side

We were promised this would be resolved within 48 hours. It’s now been over 120 hours, and we are still waiting.

This is not just a customer service failure — it’s unacceptable business practice. If this can’t be resolved immediately, I urge WeBuyCars to escalate this to someone who can take real action.

🔁 Please share if you believe consumers deserve honesty, accountability, and transparency when buying vehicles. 🛑 And if you're considering a vehicle from WeBuyCars, think twice — and double-check that Dekra report.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the frustration we are experiencing is not being fully understood or acknowledged. After reviewing multiple HelloPeter reviews, I am honestly shocked at how many similar situations have been reported—this is deeply concerning and only adds to our loss of confidence in your business.

This situation has resulted in a direct loss of income, yet it seems to be treated with a complete lack of urgency. You have my money, I have no car, and my hands are tied—meanwhile, the lack of meaningful communication or action from your side continues.

The way this is being handled is unacceptable. It’s hard to understand how a matter this serious can be met with what feels like a “holiday state of mind” from your team.

I expect a proper response and resolution without further delays.

Just venting again because clearly, that’s all I can do at this point…

After multiple emails, phone calls, and even a social media post tagging Webuycars aswell as a Hellopeter review, I still haven’t received a single proper response from WeBuyCars. All I keep hearing is “the case has been escalated” — but nothing ever comes from it.

Let me be clear: the car was returned on the 5th of June to the Dome premises. Yet, I’ve had zero feedback, no update, no follow-up — absolutely nothing.

I called the case manager today around 12/1 PM just to try get something — but again, no response. No callback. Nothing.

This is money spent on a car I don’t even have, and they act like it’s no big deal. The lack of accountability is shocking. Their service delivery is honestly non-existent.

Webuycars — by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced.
