Extremely Disappointed with “We Buy Cars” – Broken Promise & Faulty Vehicle

We recently purchased a car from We Buy Cars based on an outstanding DEKRA report, which stated there were no issues with the vehicle. Just one week later, the car wouldn't start.

We contacted the manager, who initially assured us that they would cover the repair costs and directed us to a specific mechanic for a quote. After following their instructions and getting the quote, we were shocked when they suddenly backtracked, claiming the problem was now our responsibility.

How can a business take pride in selling a car with "no issues" that breaks down after only a few days, then go back on their word when it's time to make things right?

This experience has left us deeply disappointed—not just in the vehicle, but in the lack of accountability and integrity shown by the company.
