Ref No. 720A96. I went to view and test drive a Mazda BT-50 double cab Bakkie, We Buy cars had it advertised for R140 000, which for the year model and the mileage looked like a fair deal. The Bakkie had hail dents on the roof and the bonnet and had a few minor electronic issues which I overlooked. The salesman then told me that the diff was leaking oil. When I started the bakkie, white then black smoke started billowing out of the exhaust, the salesman said that’s it’s normal for a diesel to smoke like that. I overlooked that for the time being and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. We then went for a test drive, it took half an hour to get the Bakkie out of the building. On the drive, the diff was knocking on the way out of the dome parking, as soon as we got onto the road, the Bakkie cut off and the hazard lights started flashing, I had to pull off, when I tried to restart it, it idled and hunted through the revs all in its own, i thanked the salesman and got off the Bakkie and walked back to my car. Don’t ever buy a car from We buy Cars. They buy ******* and sell *******, they don’t fix anything on any car and they sell them as is, it is beyond me that the banks are willing to finance such *******. In my opinion, the banks will eventually sit with a major loss due to come backs from WBC. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother to go and see a car at WBC no matter how good the deal looks on the net, you will only be setting yourself up for frustration, time wasting and disappointment.

They sell absolute *******. Buy from a reputable dealer that reconditions their cars before they sell to the public and you get a dealer warranty to protect you. Never buy from We Buy Cars, they are ****** and ******* and they are destroying our car market in this country. Save our economy, don’t buy from We Buy Cars please.
