DONT BUY FROM WEBUYCARS!

I would just like to let everybody know my experience with WE BUY CARS!

I am absolutely fuming !

My husband purchased a Ford Fiesta eco boost in August on 2024 as a surprise gift to me.

The turbo ***ed not to long atter having the vehicle and WE BUY CARS issued a PO for the turbo to be replaced.

Since then my car has still been giving me non stop issues.

We then took it to an RMI approved mechanic who came to the conclusion that the vehicle needs an entire new engine as it was damaged beyond repair. The quotation was basically the same price as the vehicles purchase price.

When we approached WE BUY CARS in June of 2025 regarding the issue they were of absolutely no help whatsoever! My insurance would only cover a small percentage of the new engine which would barely make a dent on the R136 000 quote, keeping in mind I've only driven just under 9000km since having the vehicle!

I have been without my own vehicle since the beginning of June.

I have had lawyers look at all documentations but of course WE BUY CARS knows how to cover their own asses!

We are now left paying off a car for 5 years that is not even running!

I am disgusted that they are still operating.

I honestly DO NOT RECOMMEND even looking in their direction to make a purchase of ANY kind.
