I purchased a Kia Picanto from Webuycars via their online auction. The vehicle was sitting in Pretoria while I am situated in Cape Town. I leveraged off the Dekra report as a true reflection of the condition of the vehicle. When I received the vehicle there was a lot more wrong with it than what was stated on the Dekra report. I have spent close to R15k in repairs post purchase of the vehicle. Most of this was on issues NOT disclosed on the Dekra report. Since then I have filed a complaint which was declined; their response including a list of legal conditions. What was the point of the assessments if it failed to disclose everything? I urge everyone to steer clear from purchasing vehicles from Webuycars.
