Do NOT buy from: WeBuyCars.co.za

In the past month I have purchased 2 vehicles from WeBuyCars in durban. The first was a 2004 VW Touareg 2.5L TDI R, when I went to view the vehicle I could see that the breaks needed to be replaced as well as an issue with the Air Suspension control due to the on board computer bringing up a notification. I decided to purchase the vehicle and have it repaired.

Since having the vehicle repaired i have been unable to get the car through COR dur to an oil leak which is due to the fact that the piston rings, header and pistons are all damaged and worn which is a long lasting condition on the vehicle.

This was hidden due to the fact that a thicker and older oil was put inside the vehicle to prevent the oil from seaping out of the broken seals (seal broken due to the pressure from the blow back).

We Buy Cars has refused to accept any liability for this and has informed me that I should have brought the vehicle back after 24hours from time of purchase.

The second vehicle I purchased was an i20 which started over heating the moment we got the vehicle home, when I went to put water inside of it, i turned the cap to open the water hose and the entire hose snapped off. Upon inspection one could clearly see that the hose had been glued on and covered with insulation tape to hide the "repair". we managed to get our money back on that vehicle as it happene the same day.

My Touareg is still sitting with the damage 4 weeks later as the exected cost cannot be accuretly estimated because there is no way to know what else has been damaged inside the engine.

Do not buy from WeBuyCars.co.za - their salesmen have no mechanical knowledge of vehicles and their buyers are either *********** or lacking morals. How is it that 2 vehicles both purchased by the same person with in a month both have mechanical failures that were debileretly hidden. That is not a coinsidence.
