Dishonesty and acts of Bad Faith

I made an application to purchase a vehicle at we buy cars on Wednesday 10 July 2024. The vehicle in question was still available as a consultant namely Rashmika Sing who was assisting called me requesting my documents as I had obtained a pre approval. Once I had submitted my documents the consultant in question who was very rude and cagey started going silent on me, I had to beg her for answers and solicite what was going on with my application as she had promised 24hrs finalisation. Rashmika Sing works in the Springfield Durban branch and is unprofessional and is not forthcoming. She should have indicated to me if the vehicle had an offer or if an existing policy would preclude me or put me secondary to obtaining this vehicle. This morning I get a message telling me vehicle has been sold.

I had no idea we buy cars was this unprofessional and have staff that conduct themselves in this manner. South Africa has tuns of vehicle companies, if you don't want to do business with a particular group of people in the country you simply say so, however don't delay me on purpose to gratify whatever agenda you may have.

I don't advise people to work with this company.
