Dishonest Reporting, Disgusting Service & Zero After-Sales Support – Avoid Richmond Branch & Webuycars at all costs
Dishonest Reporting & Zero After-Sales Support – Avoid Richmond Branch & Webuycars at all costs
If I could give zero stars, I would. I bought a vehicle cash from the Richmond branch based on a certified Inspectify report that marked safety-critical components as "Good." These components were indeed, not good (collapsed suspension, and cracked timing belt).
Within 7 days of taking delivery of the vehicle, a brand specialist confirmed these parts are actually in a failed/high-risk state.
The salesperson, Martin Johnson, was a classic "wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am" operator. He made grand promises that if anything was wrong, it would be sorted out. Instead, I was ghosted on multiple occasions. Messages went unanswered the moment the money cleared. There is zero integrity once they have your cash.
The "Customer Care" investigation is a joke. They ignored documented misrepresentations in their own report and had the audacity to label a collapsed suspension and cracked timing belt, which causes catastrophic engine failure, as "routine maintenance." - after I only had the car for one week!
They sold me an unroadworthy, unsafe vehicle and then tried to bully me into a 50/50 settlement for defects they **** about. I am now forced to repair this vehicle "under protest" for my family’s safety.
If you value honesty, avoid this branch and Webuycars, and their useless "resolution" team. They are in clear breach of the CPA and their own 2025 Consent Order. Currently escalating to MIOSA and the NCC.
