DISGUSTED WITH WE BUY CARS JHB SOUTH
I hope to help anyone out there looking to buy a vehicle. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE THROUGH WE BUY CARS JHB SOUTH OR BRACKENFELL. I purchased a VW polo 2016 in April 2023 and to date I am still driving an unregistered vehicle with several major concerns. The most problematic being that my vehicle ECU & cluster was replaced before purchase and they never reported it. They have sold me an unroadworthy vehicle with unmatching VIN NR’s . 3months down the line I still have no registration papers and absolutely no feedback from WE BUY CARS or the salesman who has made several promises to try get me help but has made no attempt. I am basically sitting with an unregistered, unmarked , unroadworthy vehicle and we buy cars has avoided every attempt for them to accept accountability. If you want to do a legal , helpful vehicle purchase - STAY AWAY FROM WE BUY CAR. THEY ARE ***** AND HAVE CAUSED ME NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE.

This correspondence serves to confirm that you are aware of the problems reported to you regarding the Polo I bought from you this past Saturday .
While on your premises on Saturday I reported to you (Shabaaz) that the Bluetooth was not working in the car and I do not accept it like that because the vehicle was advertised with Bluetooth listed .You personally inspected the vehicle and explained that you are unable to help to get it working but you will arrange for my vehicle to be booked in at the VW Dealership in my town to get it sorted @ We Buy Cars expense.
On completion of inspection of this vehicle at the VW dealership it was reported to me that the *vehicle control unit and radio needs to be replaced* entirely and that the ECU that is currently in my vehicle is not the ECU that was originally in the vehicle .
Your advise to go by a “cheap aftermarket” part to get my Bluetooth working is not acceptable.
It was never reported to me that the cluster in the vehicle was replaced ( as it legally should be reported to a new buyer) and I was sent away by the VW Dealership in town as they are unable to assist in this matter .
I would like to enquire as to how this vehicle passed road worthy seeing that the vin nrs do not match up?
As a client I am understandably very frustrated and am urgently looking for feedback regarding this problem .
I formally request we buy cars to get get my vehicle fixed and in the conditions you advertised it in or to provide me with an identical replacement vehicle to the standard that was advertised .
I urgently await your soonest response.
