Disappointed with We Buy Cars Midstream – Deposit Paid, Bike Sold, No Finance Support

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at We Buy Cars Midstream, and I feel compelled to share this to warn others and request accountability.

I paid a deposit on Saturday, 12 July to reserve a Honda NC750X motorcycle, under the assumption that this would secure the bike while I completed the finance application. Despite multiple attempts to finalize the financing, I was unable to proceed — your system consistently blocked me with an "application in progress" message, and no clear or functional workaround was ever provided. One representative even advised me to apply under a different vehicle, which felt incredibly ***** and unacceptable.

Meanwhile, my family members took time and effort to travel and test the motorcycle based on the assumption that the vehicle was being held for me. I committed in good faith, and I tried my best to complete the process — but the repeated system issues, lack of proper guidance, and inconsistent advice made it impossible to conclude the sale.

To make matters worse, I’ve now seen the bike was sold to someone else. No one informed me, and no refund has been processed. So after all my effort, I’m left with:

No bike

A wasted deposit

No support

And no accountability

I expect my deposit to be refunded in full, as the failure was not mine but a result of ineffective internal systems and a broken customer journey at We Buy Cars Midstream.

I sincerely hope this complaint is taken seriously, and that future buyers are treated with the transparency and professionalism they deserve.
