Defective car from We Buy Cars
I have bought many vehicles in my life and never experienced such poor service from a car dealership. All other dealerships were willing to take a vehicle back or have it fixed. I bought a car from the Germiston branch and on my way to Polokwane from the Germiston branch the same weekend I bought the vehicle the car started giving me problems. It is so bad that the vehicle dies up to six times in two days and doesn't want to start. How can I use a vehicle like this. There are so many faults on the vehicle I feel they should take it back. It has been months and multiple calls with the head office and no answer. I even said I am willing to buy another vehicle from the company.

07 Feb 2023, 11:06Ok so we buy cars have gotten back to me now.
They refuse to pay for the mechanic to check what is the issue with the vehicle and refuses to provide me with a courtesy vehicle while the vehicle is at the mechanic.
The mechanic says he cant say how long it will take as it can take days or weeks to find the issue.
Then also for them to take the vehicle I must pay for a rental while the vehicle is being inspected, I must pay for the inspections at the mechanic and I must pay them over R27 000 for the kilometers used while i waited for them to get back to me.
None of this was ever explained to me by the sales person.
That said it isn't my fault it took them six months to get back to me.
If you are in the market to buy a vehicle stay away from webuycars.
