*********, lacklustre, ***********, ******* service.
Short version: Webuycars Midstream has been providing the worst, most lacklustre, *********** and ******* service I've ever received from automotive dealers. They treat prospective buyers with contempt, they don't follow up on sales progress at all, they fail at applying for finance and they will lie to you about a car being reserved for you and will sell it without scrutiny.
Long version: I found a car at Webuycars Midstream that I liked. I filled in a web form to get contacted, but 2 days later after no contact, I filled in a finance application. I never received feedback on the finance application and filled in another one. The 2nd one was also unanswered, so I drove through to Webuycars Midstream on a Saturday to view, test drive and make an offer on the vehicle I was interested in. I was told the vehicle is now reserved for me as I made an official offer and was told to expect a call in 2-3 hours. A week later, I called them myself as I've heard nothing, and I was simply told "the finance application was unsuccessful". I told them it must be a mistake, but try again with more than double the previous deposit - they said it was still declined. I refused to believe it and said I'll do it myself, which I was able to do within an hour and for less of a deposit than what they failed to secure. After informing them my finance application was approved and giving them the reference code, I was told they will proceed with the roadworthy inspection and let me know if it is successful so that I can come through and pay the deposit + fees. Almost another week later not hearing any update, I phoned to ask what the status was. The person I spoke to said they will find out and let me know. About 20 minutes later I receive a call saying how much deposit I need to pay and I agree, but after agreeing, the person who phoned me said "oh, sorry, the car was sold". After asking them how that can be when it was explicitly reserved for me, they simply said "I don't know" and when I told them that their service has been terrible, indifferent and virtually nonexistant, they simply shrugged it off and asked me if I want to apply the finance to a different car. Heck no, I don't want to work with (read "for") you ever again. Your service has been ***********, your staff ********* and your promises all empty. Throughout this entire process I was very friendly and patient, but I have no doubt whatsoever that Webuycars couldn't care less about the consumers. Buyers beware!
