Dangerously False Dekra Report

We have recently purchased a 2009 Toyota Fortuner from We buy cars in Germiston. As we took it for a test drive me and the salesman heard a squeaky noise at the rear end while driving, which did went quiet. Luckily I didn't test this vehicle at any high speeds for I would later learn, that this vehicle was life threatening, every time me and my twins were getting into the vehicle. Luckily all the travelling that we did was at low speed and close vicinity of my house. As I noticed a vibration on the vehicle driving home from We buy cars, my husband advised me to take it for wheel balancing and brake check before driving it any further. Which I did the next morning.

Only then after checking the vehicle and confirmed by three individuals from different professional service suppliers. I was informed by all of them to not continue driving with this vehicle any further. For the current state that the drive train is in, can cause damage of destruction or an even severe accident at high speed. This vehicle was accompanied by a complete Dekra report with photographs stating that this vehicle is in a good mechanical condition, and was never mentioned anywhere that my life and my family's life will be at risk while driving it out of We buy cars warehouse.

We have contacted them and they only refer to the terms and conditions that was signed by us. Which void the Dekra report completely and served no purpose on the condition this vehicle is in when bought. After looking at multiple vehicles on their website the only thing that we were looking at, at the point of sale was the Dekra report.

The only thing that was mentioned was minor scratches and dents that is normally for a vehicle of this age. But would also discover that the roof was covered by a hail storm and a poor attempt of fixing it leaving it with two roof lining clips missing.

This is not really a conversation starter but the fact that none of the drive train damages was noted and reported by the Dekra technician, pointed out that this critical information was either with held with purpose or deliberately or excluded from the Dekra report, to get a quick sale. I was informed by We buy cars that I had enough time to notice this problem and it was my responsibility as a women to pick this up in their showroom.

Nevertheless I received an email where they refused any assistance of payment from We buy cars to assist in fixing my vehicle, which I never requested from them. And also stated that I effected repairs to the vehicle without their authorization .

Now my question is why am I not allowed to fix my vehicle when it is broken, and it is threatening my life. So the long and the short is You can buy a vehicle from We buy cars, with a ********** Dekra report but are not allowed to repair it without their consent.
