DAMAGE CAR SOLD WITH GOLD DEKRA REPORT

I bought a car with a Gold Dekra sticker on it, I have done minimal millage, and the gearbox pump and other items broke. I had the car towed to my mechanic and he could easily see that the engine and gearbox had been removed, so much so that not even all the bolts had been put back. We Buy Cars advertises that they pride themselves in quality cars and after sales service yet something like this just went undetected. Chandre Rossouw was put on the case now she is MIA, not responding to any mails, can't reach her on the phone, seem convenient now that I'm sitting with a R100 000.00 bill. Not too sure what to do now but I can assure you I'm not leaving it here.

Cause of Failure: The gearbox oil pump likely failed first, causing a drop in oil pressure and lubrication. This led to overheating and damage to the torque converter, resulting in component seizure. Recommended Action: • Replace gearbox oil pump. • Replace torque converter. • Address vacuum leaks and correct routing of vacuum pipes and wiring. • Replace missing or incorrect bolts were necessary.
