Cancelation of warranty

I purchased a 2018 Ford Ranger from We buy Cars Springfield Park. Vehicle had a problem an I returned it to the 2 months later an the deal canceled. Was paid out for vehicle but the issue is with the warranty from Innovation Group that I purched through We Buy Cars. The mechanic who tried to fix the van buy could not get it right put a claim through on my warranty although although their return policy states if the vehicle has a problem within the first 6 months ot can be returned to them and the deal canceled. The warranty company paid the mechanic his money but the van was still not repaired. Innovation Group now states that the warranty will be frozen for the full 2 years but it don't make sense to me as I don't have the vehicle anymore. Now they don't want to pay me out the R8900 that I paid for the warranty.
