Buy the shares not the cars
We had an awful experience - found a car we liked, went there (Richmond), put a deposit down to secure the car and waited for a finance offer whilst ourselves investigating with our bank. When they came back with the offer, it was incorrect (didn't account for the further deposit we were putting in and had a whole bunch of added costs) plus expensive in interest rate (we subsequently learnt that they make a lot of money here so this is disingenuous). When we queried, they called for a commitment letter which we sent but with caveats - subject to acceptable financing terms. No reply then a message saying the car is gone, sold to the next in line, whilst we're still waiting for a reply (the salesman has yet to return our call) and the best was this line in closing: “Hope you find what you’re looking for”... Now we are (2 weeks later) still trying to get the deposit back and when lodging a complaint with their head office have no response. Guess its true what they say about a fish rotting. The joke is that we are ready buyers and thankfully secured another vehicle (not from them with bank financing at great terms) but now are disgruntled so will tell everyone about the negative experience. They are designed around volume and hidden profits, not the customer, so could be worth buying shares in when they list but as a customer, beware.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Our sincerest apologies for the negative experience you have had.
We are busy investigating the matter and will provide you with feedback as soon as possible.
Kind regards
