Bunch of ***** with Bad Attitudes
We saw a vehicle, liked it and made payment. Upon collection we were asked to sign a document that said we waiver our rights as a consumer should we have any issues. My Husband refused to sign this. My family were handed two keys and told that they both work but the 2nd one needs to be cut as its a blank. We did this within a day to find that it does not start the car. I called our salesman Theo who promised to get back to us but didn't. Numerous calls later his Manager, Angelique Manais refused to take any of my calls and asked him to tell me that its not their problem. Theo confirmed that we signed the document the waiver and therefore we go no leg to stand on. He also said that the customer they purchased the car from **** to them so that's the reason they in turn **** to us. The only reason a co. will ask you to waiver your rights in the first instance is if they are ****** who want to take you for a ride. This experience proves it even though we did not sign that document. Be careful when dealing with this company and the staff. Bad experience which could have been sorted out had they had any morals and ethics.
Dear Sue,
Kindly find I just had a discussion with Angelique Manais, our Durban Sales Manager. She has advised that she just spoke to your husband with regards to your complaint.
She explained to me that your husband did not want to sign the waiver and that we offered him to have the vehicle tested, which he did. After the vehicle passed the test, your husband was happy to sign the waiver and did.
With regards to the keys, I have been advised that we provided you with two keys, one to the vehicle, and another one that was not cut. As it is a wholesale agreement, you are responsible for the cutting of the key, as well as the coding of the key. We have no responsibility to ensure that the key works after you had it cut.
From the discussion Angelique just had with your husband, we understand that you are unhappy with the form that you require for the licensing department, as the licensing department does not want to accept it. Angelique explained that the copy gets accepted in Johannesburg and Cape Town, and when your son was in contact with Theo, he offered to come and pick up the form at our warehouse.
I believe that a new arrangement has been made that Theo will drop off the form at your house this afternoon, your husband sent your address through to Angelique.
According to the information given to me, the above complaint has been resolved.
