Broken car, bad aftersales service... refusal to assist.....

I bought a car at WeBuyCars (WBC) through finance on 28 March 2025. On the advert the car had 166000km on the clock. The car had a gold sticker too, meaning it underwent thorough checks and it was reasonably good. I drove it home and the next day all problems started. 1.The car started to smoke from the exhaust. 2.The tyre lights went on, 3. The ABS light went on, 4. The stability control also went on... 5. The roof cloth became loose.

I brought this to the attention of the salesperson who assisted me and he advised that i log a call. I logged a call with customer care and was given a reference number 88998.

6. Only then did i realise another issue....the mileage is on 173000kn and not 166000km as per the advert. Huge misrepresentation by the dealership.

nonetheless, I was advised to book the car in at an RMI approved workshop and was provided with a list of workshops linked to WeBuyCars. I did as i was advised. The car was booked in, diagnosed, and a whole lot of issued were identified.. speed sensors, tyre pressure sensors, front control arms, leaking rear main seal, etc.

I doubt the authenticity of the Dekra report that was issued now. Long story short the lady at WBC who has been assigned to assist is now taking us from pillar to post. To date, 10 April 2025 the car is still at the workshop as they are awaiting WeBuyCars to approve the quotation for repairs. its been 2 weeks now. I regret the decision of going to " WBC The Dome branch"... that was the worst mistake i ever did. To date i'm without a car as they are taking their own time. Today again, 10 April 2025, i was informed by the workshop that WBC is not willing to cover all the repairs costs as i only notified them of the smoke and nothing else.

I'M TAKING IT BACK!!!!!

I gave them 1 star only because there is no option to choose a minus. i bought 3 other cars previously but this time around they did me wrong...
We buy cars has lost a loyal customer in me and i dont intend to come back again.
