Brocken air conditioner was not mentioned when I purchase the vehicle

Last year June 2022, I purchased a Hyundai i10 1 Motion from We Buy Cars. My salesperson did not advise me that the car's air conditioner was not working. The vehicle required a few repairs before it could be approved and receive a roadworthy certificate. Approximately a week later, I noticed that the air conditioner was not functioning. Initially, I thought it might be a minor issue, possibly just needing a gas refill. When I took it for service at Hyundai The Glen, I requested that they inspect the air conditioner, as well as the phone connectivity feature since the car had a phone button but couldn't connect to my cell phone.

An inspection was conducted on the car, and the service advisor informed me that they needed to replace the entire compressor, which would cost approximately R20,200, excluding labor expenses. I consider this situation unfair because I acquired the car in this condition, and the air conditioner had never worked since my purchase. Furthermore, they informed me that my warranty coverage does not cover the full cost, which I find unjust. If I had been aware of the air conditioner issue, I would have opted for a different car.

I kindly request that We Buy Cars address and rectify this air conditioner problem, as it resulted from their negligence.
