Be warned when purchasing a vehicle. Make sure you check everything!!

Stay away from buying a vehicle from We Buy Cars. I baught a Ford Figo 2014. Test drive went well. No major issues on the dekra report. Full service history. So trusted that I was buying a good vehicle. On my way home from buying the vehicle the vehicle drove well but something felt wrong with the tyres. Stopped at the nearest garage and asked them to check my tyres. It was at 4 bar. After getting it at the right pressure I felt that there is another problem. When I arrived in my home town 4 days later I had to register the vehicle on my name and it had to go for a roadworthy test. Also know that my vehicles license expired in February. Took the vehicle to get the tyres checked to make sure all is in order before taking it for the the roadworthy test. Was then told that al 4 my shocks had to be replaced!! I logged the complaint with We Buy Cars and was contacted withing 24 hours by the complaints centre. Was told that they would have to refund me as this problem was not stipulated on the Dekra report. I was so happy as we really can not afford the new shocks of R5700. 24 Hours later I get a email stating that they can not help me as they do not cover wear and tear. So here is the response I recieved.

The Derka report did not mention the shocks, because at the time the test was conducted there were no defects relating to the shocks.

Shocks are deemed wear and tear items. The wear and tear the vehicle was put through after it left our premises may have been the result for the required replacement.

WeBuyCars cannot be held liable for wear and tear items.
